February 2020 will mark the 6th annual African Business and Development Conference hosted by McGill DABI. Our mandate remains unequivocally pan-African aimed at establishing a space for students, intellectuals and professionals to gain insight and think creatively about business and development opportunities on the continent. The opportunities and synergies between the Maghreb, East, West, South and Central Africa are what fascinate us. It is our view that greater continental cooperation will facilitate long-lasting sustainable growth.
This year we will be introducing a new dimension to the annual conference, which will include development. The 6th edition of McGill African Business and Development Conference will thread, social development, and technological leaps on the continent. For this reason, we look forward to a weekend of shared enthusiasm and perspectives on the theme: Africa Leading: Defying the Conventional and Progressing Together.
McGill DABI has always attracted top business personalities and organizations that have always offered cutting edge perspectives. Fellows from the African entrepreneurship incubator Harambe and ambassadors have in the past shared their expertise and inspired the young, emerging entrepreneurs and the business community alike to seriously lean in on opportunities in Africa.
With the generous support from our sponsors and commitment from our community both at McGill University and Canada as a whole, the McGill DABI conference has brought together and connected well over 1,000 people since its inception. Our attendance continues to grow, having managed to reach maximum capacity in its last session.
We are looking forward to your participation for the upcoming session!
